    An Austin service scenario

Illustrative workflow · Not a client case study

At an Austin community, an opted-in resident receives a text when the property route starts — not when a crew is predicted to reach their building. If a bag is left behind, the resident can submit a come-back through the website or bin-sticker QR without logging in.

An enrolled resident can instead text COMEBACK, follow building/unit prompts and CONFIRM. A missing catalog unit is accepted for crew verification. During collection the request goes to the crew; after completed property service it is queued for the next visit.

The manager reviews pending callbacks and documented exceptions in the Action Center and property reports. Accepted, heading back, completed and closed without pickup remain separate statuses. No immediate pickup or ETA is guaranteed.

When a pickup is missed: how it's checked and fixed

Availability and scope are confirmed for each property before service begins.

A resident says their trash was missed. How do we check?

Assigned property managers can create a unit verification request in the manager portal. The crew records whether that unit was serviced or not serviced, with notes and photo evidence where available, so you can see the result instead of relying on memory.

What photo evidence do managers see?

The portal includes category-filtered service, check-in and violation photos, plus before-and-after photos of waste areas. Date-range reports and a property PDF help you review what was documented on a given night.

    How are exceptions handled?

When service at a unit doesn't go as planned, such as a set-out that doesn't follow the resident guidelines, the crew documents it as an exception or violation with notes or photos. Managers review them, along with violation patterns, in the Action Center and property reports.

What can a resident do if a bag was left behind?

Residents never log in. They can scan the bin-sticker QR code or use the website to submit a come-back request, or, if enrolled in texts, text COMEBACK and CONFIRM. If their unit isn't listed, the request is still accepted and the crew verifies the location.

What happens to a come-back request after it's submitted?

It depends on timing. Before the route starts, it is held for that night. During collection, it goes to the crew. After service is completed, it is queued for the next service. Accepted, heading back, completed and closed without pickup are shown as separate statuses, and a private status link can show a completion photo.

Do you guarantee same-night pickups or an arrival time?

No. We don't promise immediate pickup or ETAs. Collection schedules, scope and any service remedies are specific to your property and written into your proposal.

The Action Center brings priorities into focus. Property Analytics connects route status, violations, pending come-backs, feedback and service trends. Date-range reports give your team a shared record instead of another vendor follow-up.

Photo Gallery separates service/check-in and violation photos from before-and-after chute, compactor and dumpster-area records. It does not mean every door is photographed.

    Resident options

A text when collection starts at your community

Sent when the property route starts collection — not a prediction of building arrival or a pickup ETA. Opted-in preferences also cover delays, cancellations, schedule changes and back-on-schedule notices.

    A come-back request with follow-through

Use the website or bin-sticker QR, or follow the structured COMEBACK text prompts after enrollment. A private status link separates received, accepted, heading back, completed and closed without pickup.
